Yes. Sliding-scale rates may be available on a case-by-case basis. Feel free to ask when you contact me, and we can talk about what may be available.
Yes. I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation so you can tell me a little about what’s bringing you to therapy, ask any questions you have, and get a sense of whether working together feels like a good fit.
I usually recommend meeting weekly during the first few weeks. This gives us time to get comfortable working together and build some momentum.
After that, we can adjust the frequency based on what you need and how things are progressing.
There isn’t one timeline that works for everyone, but many of my clients work with me for about three to six months.
My goal isn’t for you to stay in therapy forever. I want our work to help you reach a place where you feel better equipped to move forward on your own. Some clients choose to continue with monthly check-ins when that feels helpful.
I ask for more than 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations made with less notice may be subject to a late-cancellation fee.
Our first session is really about getting to know you.
We’ll talk about your background, what has been going on in your life, and what you’re hoping therapy can help with. It also gives us a chance to begin figuring out what would be most helpful for you moving forward.
You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy.
The clients who tend to get the most from our work are those who show up consistently and are willing to take an active part in the process. Therapy is collaborative, and some of the most meaningful change happens when you’re willing to take what we discuss in session and apply it in your everyday life.
